Arriving back in Gatwick at Midnight. Car parking facilities?

We fly out at a civilised time but return at Midnight. I know that you can park your car at hotels near Gatwick at the start of your stay and leave them there throughout your holiday at the price of a room,. But can you do the reverse? Can we park on the day we fly out and stay on the night we return, driving home the next day?

Yes, you can do it either way. Try the Copthorne as its reasonable and has frequent buses

Fantastic. Do they have a maximum stay? Our trip is 10 days

I'm not sure of a maximum, but 10 days would be fine

I phoned them up and it is around £140 for the room. Is there any where cheaper where they offer a similar service?

Which terminal do you land at. The Sofitel is actually connected to one of the terminals (the north I think) so whilst it would be around the same price as the Copthorne, there's none of the hassle of buses, which, IME, at midnight (or after by the time you've been through baggage reclaim etc) aren't that frequent

Yes agree the europa is a good bet, cheap, clean and easy

Waswondering - we also use the chauffeur meet and greet service when we go on holiday, and have used Purple Parking in the past. However, they are not always the cheapest - prices vary. We have used a few different ones, all with good reviews, depending on the best price at the time.
It is always worth comparing prices of the ones with high rating each time you go.
Meet and Greet is only useful if you are driving straight home though, not a cheaper option if wanting a hotel and parking package to avoid driving home late at night.

We used Purple when we flew from Heathrow. If you look around on the internet you can often find discount codes. I found a 50% one at the time. We took the car to the depot and then they had a mini-bus which dropped us off, and picked us up at the terminal. Cost £25 for a week.
