Planning to travel to spain or portugal for a week's holiday next month with mth old baby. What do you do about sterilising? We'll be staying in a villa so fine to sterilise in microwave or with tablets but is it ok to wash the bottles in local water?

You should be fine but I would wash in hot water with washing up liquid, rinse, swill out with a little bottled water, then sterilise. I'm pretty sure you can drink the tap water but with such a tiny tot I wouldn't take any chances. Have a lovely holiday.

When at my Mum's house in spain we either used the lindam microwave steriliser bags or we used to cold water sterilise with milton tablets. Washing up is fine in local water - just sterilise afterwards.
