confused regarding transit and fluids

i'm flying from birmingham tomorrow and i have two stops: Dubai and Jo-urg before my final location.
will we have to go through the security check and fluid restriction with each transit stop?

Dubai - yes. JNB - they don't care.

Yes, every country takes you through security and a liquid check. Some are more stringent than others. For example, Singapore never really were bothered that I had Cartons of formula. Sydney were as were London.
