Disney Magic Cruise, few questions if you have been on it?

Hi

Were going on the Magic on June 7th, I've read somewhere there are no jeans, shorts in restaurants, and there will also be a formal night and a semi-formal night?

What do we wear for these if we end up going, and are kids invited to the formal/semi formal nights?

What do people wear at night in the restaurants, I've only really got cropped trousers, linens, and a couple of maxi dresses?

Will those do?

Hi

We were on the Magic last summer, you will have a great time!!

Yes these clothes will do, don't worry. Any kind of nice dress will do for a formal night, cropped trousers or linen stuff for other nights fine.

You can be as dressy as you like or not really. I would say that less than half of people were very formal on formal night on this cruise, less so than other cruises we've been on.

I wouldn't worry about the kids either. A few kids will be wearing suits or sparkly dresses, most will be wearing shirt/polo shirt with trousers/shorts and dresses.

Our son usually came to dinner with us but went out with the kids club staff on the 'dine and play' programme which meant that his food came quickly and he could then go with the staff to the evening activities while we ate.
