Science Centre/Herstmonceaux Castle - any good??

Is this a good day out, have heard vague talk of it being good? Have an 11 year old, two 6 year olds and a 3 year old. Or any other recommendations in Kent type area. Many thanks.

It's not bad - very hands on - demos/show is quite good. Combine with the castle though as I dont think there is enough to fill a whole day just at the Science Centre.
