Cambridge- for kids?

We currently live abroad but are coming over to the UK for a visit and will be stopping off in Cambridge on the way to my parents. Its years since I have been. Is there anywhere suitable for DSs (aged 4 and 5) to spend a couple of hours with DH (whilst I get my John Lewis/M&S fix? Smile)

the zoology museum is good as is the Sedgwick (full of shiny rocks) but they are most defiantly museums. Punting is fun and there are lots of nice parks walkable from the centre - such as Lamas land park.

They'd probably find bits of the Fitz museum quite interesting - and its free to get into. Or if the weather's nice have a run round the botanical gardens.
