My daughter is 6 months old. I'm looking for places to take her on the Bank Holidays. I already plan to take her swimming as we go nearly every week. She enjoys going to the Hollybush Garden Centre to see the animals but we have done that a lot recently. I don't really want to take her to Dudley Zoo as it will be mega busy. Her Dad runs the soft play area connected to the Bostin Fittle and that will be really busy so really don't want to take her to soft play areas either. Any ideas what we can do she just likes to go to new places to look around and do new things?

Is there a petting farm over by you? Ashend is very good but that just outside Sutton so may be a trek depending on where you're based

Have you tried looking on netmums? I know it sometimes gets a bad press on here but I do find it very useful for seeing what's on in your area.

Sandwell park farm is great for the littlest ones. A few animals, dirt cheap, pleasant space, never too crowded. Older kids become a bit blasé about it alas.
