Disneyland Paris - question over "Magic Hours"

According to the DLP website, if you're staying at one of their hotels, you can enter the parks earlier and stay later.

I can see how they police this for earlier entry, but how do they police the later closing for DLP hotel guests? Surely once you're in the park, you just stay there until closing time? Or do they check at each ride/attraction that you're actually a guest?

I've never been to Paris but in Florida just before the parks close they put out an announcement for people entitled to Magic Hours to get a wristband. Then when the park shuts everybody with no wristband has to leave while everyone with a wristband can stay. Think we had to show/ swipe our room key to get the bands (it was a few years ago)

We did this about 4 years ago (stayed at the big pink hotel) and although I can't remember how they police magic hours, it was a Godsend with a small child. DD1 was just 2.5 at the time so we were up super early and in the park, went home after an early lunch for a long nap, played, had dinner and popped back for a wee look at the lights. Being in the park with so few people was really cool!

We have just returned from DLP.The magic hours were just in the morning I believe.We were able to get in at 8am instead of 10am.You are given paperwork to show that you can go in early when you go through the gates.We were able to stay until the park closed as is everyone I believe.

For the early morning hours you just need your hotel pass which will be given to you on check in. In the morning you go to the right of the main entrance area where your pass is checked and you can go in. Be aware that only certain attractions are open- fantasyland has dumbo, tea cups, carousel, Peter pan and sometimes pinochio or snow White. Also open in discovery land is buzz, space mountain and autopia. For everything else you join the rush at 10 when the park opens!
