Hi All

I am thinking about buying my 2.5 yr old son a trunki for our hols in the Summer but wanted to know if they are worth the money (although I have found them a bit cheaper on ebay)

Thanks

we have one for ds (the gruffalo one) and it is good for him. doesn't fit a lot in, maybe 2 changes of clothes. but we tend to travel lightly anyway.

I can highly recommend them - DD (21 months) also has the Gruffalo (reasonably cheap on Amazon) and she loves it. Fits just enough toys and books in it to entertain and isn't as heavy as I thought it would be. Makes a useful seat when your toddler needs a rest!

DD is 7 now and has had Trunki for 3 years now. She can pack a whole weeks worth of clothes in Trunki and we are talking 7year old girl here we need at least one new set each day. Trunki nearly saved my sanity last year we were in Oman for the ash cloud and we ended up travelling home by flying to Istanbul and then Barcelona on day one, 11 hour taxi ride and then eurostar. Whilst queuing for hours in airports etc. DD was able to sit on Trunki and was comfortable. Trunki managed all of that with sustaining any kind of damage.
I paid full price and think he has been worth every penny. He has been to Abu Dhabi, France more times than I can count, Oman, Istanbul and Barcelona.

Think I might give one a try then Thanks :-)

Both my girls have them. They're great (and we're always skint so was a big decision, but bought my 2 yo one without much thought after the success of DD1s). Go for it.

i have just got 3 of them for my dc's for florida in 2 weeks. i like the fact they are hand luggage size, can keep change of clothes, comfort items, toys, snacks etc in them. They opened them yesterday and love them. hopefully will be successfull on the trip. we got ours off ebay aswell.
