Cuba with a 1 yr old and 2 year old. Do I need to pack nappies for the entire trip?

Hi there, we are heading off to Caya Coco, Cuba on Sunday with our 3 children, two of them still in nappies. Has anyone been? Can I get nappies out there? I will most certainly struggle to pack nappies and swim nappies for two weeks!

Hi Karen, went there last June-lovely. The shop in hotel did sell nappies but I strongly recommend that you take your own. Know its a pain but maybe you could get them from Boots at the airport so that you don't fill your luggage with them. There are NO shops at all in Cayos. Have fun - v jealous!

Hi Cheekeymonkey,
Thanks for the advice, it might be a pain but at least I know now! I am going to take an extra bag for them!
Thanks so much, Karen

Have you thought about using cloth swim nappies, they contain poo really well and you would only need one, possibly two for each kid, take up heaps less space.

i wouold also take the cloth swimmers.i took 3 for dd as they take ages to dry.the nappies abroad are usually really expnsive,in thailand they wer £15 for a pack of 24.wet wipes are also expensive .have the 2 in nappies got a seat on the plane, if so you will have at least 80kg and 40kg hand luggage.
