Hi, has anyone been on a holiday to Malaga with young children?my husband just mentioned it. are there things for them to do? :-)

Malaga itself is nothing special BUT it is near some other fabulous places In Spain Malaga is the gateway to S Spain and its many delights..Grenada, Seville..

Quick hello - new here & I live in Mijas in Spain with my 3 kids (10, 8 & 8).

I LOVE Malaga city itself, the Alcazaba is a smaller version of the Alhambra & costs ?3 to visit. The city remains very Spanish as in general most people think it's only where the airport is & not a place to visit.

Depending on where you stay there's lots for kids to do. Mine liked the Zoo in Fuengirola when they were younger & love Selwo park now they're older. The beach is always a firm favorite, the nicest time to go is early evening in the summer. We often play on the beach & grab a bite to eat in one of the churinguitos (beach bars) while the kids play in the sand between the food arriving.
