ds (5) and I have some time to spare round convent garden tomorrow and I was wondering if the transport museum is worth the £13.50 admission fee?

Is that how much it is now? It's very good, I think your DS would enjoy it.

Yes it's absolutely amazing, if he is remotely into trains / transport he will love it. Its our favourite place (DS is 3.8). With the admission price you now get a year's pass....bargain. Have fun!

Oh, ok! I don't mind paying that much if he'll love it. Am assuming from their website that children are free, unless he's a concession and will then cost £10. Shall investigate further. He's turned into a rather keen tourist!

Thanks for the help

Oh, he'll love it. You will too, in fact. Better than buying a crystal ball or similar from the boutiques around Covent Garden when killing time :) There used to be the Museum of Thatre just round the corner from it but I think it closed a few years back.

Yes. He will love it. You can drive a tube train if you can elbow all the old train spotters out of the way.

2 for 1 offer with rail ticket..

Fancy going myself now you mention it!

He loved it! Was a very good way to spend a couple of hours. Thank you. Smile

Now need to know about the Museum of London and/ or borough Market for Thursday... And nice place to eat near The Palladium (regent St)

Museum of London is great too. You'll both love it.

Borough market, not much to do TBH, apart from have a look around, but if it's only a couple of hours that's OK.

For somewhere to eat try toptable

Grockle · 13/04/2011 07:56

Thank you Christina, that's fab. Will use toptable this afternoon.
