Tray for car seat

Has anyone used one of these? A friend has this one and I've found this one but I'm not sure.

I don't know if I'm worried about safety, use or price TBH! I think DS would use one if he had it, and if I got him one of these then he might be occupied during 4 hour trips to Devon (rather than bugging me to pick up the toy he has just dropped! Grin)

Does anyone have any advice??

TIA Smile

Dd has one as part of her car seat - its very good for long juries and detachs when not Iin use.

This may be more versatile as could use it when travelling/out generally

Hi. We got the starkidz one but it was significantly cheaper in the States. DS, 3, likes it for long trips. I like the fact that it has a lip to keep his cars and snacks from rolling off and it's soft foam so that if there is an accident, it'll just fold up. He hasn't fully mastered the mesh nets on the sides but they're a good size and can fit a couple of small books or drink. It is NOT a great hard surface for writing/coloring but definitely better than nothing.

It attaches easily and when we're not using it, it just sits on the seat next to his car seat so we don't have to rethread it through the back each time.
