Naxos or Milos

We are looking for a quiet island with sandy beeches so I have narrowed my search to these two. Anyone been? Any recommendations for accommodation etc ( self catering). Thanks

We are going to Naxos this summer :)

Never been before but am very excited as it looks amazing. We are staying at the Medusa Resort in Plaka beach. We were thinking of staying in Naxos town but decided that it was such a short journey between the two that we would prefer to have more space on the beach and take the bus to the town in the evenings if we felt like.

I had a thread on here about Naxos and other MNers had lots of good things to say about the place.

Thanks, Tulpe. I was also thinkign of finding something close to Naxos town as we would rent a car anyway. I will look for yoy thread as well :)
