Mauritius - What to do?

hello,

OH and I are going to the Oberoi in Mauritius in 4 weeks time for our honeymoon.
Anyone any recommnedations of things to do whilst we are there.
Anyone been to the Oberoi?

Stayed at The Residence when we went which I would highly recommend for people with kids. They have a wonderful kids club that ran until 2200 every night and was included in the price but the Oberoi has a fab reputation for honeymoons and not overrun with kids! Long old flight but at least it is direct with no stops. Island is lovely but very much resort living. Alchol is very expensive. Stock up at Duty Free

Went a couple of years ago and stayed at The Royal Palm.
A truely fantastic 5 star hotel, ...if you hire a car,pop over for lunch/drink.
Too late for you no doubt.....but I wouldn't fly Emirates via Dubai. Definately go direct.
