flying first time with small dc but without any luggage - do I still need to check in?

dd 15m will be in the sling, ds 4y can walk just fine. we will only have a trunki, a backpack and a nappy bag.
flying easyjet btw. until now we always had luggage but needed to check in the pushchair anyway and wonder if I can just go through to the gate?

you don't get a boarding card unless you check in

we have already printed the boarding pass.

i went with easy jet last week to barcelona. i printed both boarding cards before then just went to the security gate, then boarded the flight. easy.
if you are going to spain you have to fill out your passport details online with easyjet first.
