Villa Portugal Almancil/Vale de Lobo

Hi Ladies
Looking for villa with private pool in Almancil/Val de Lobo area of portugal.
Stayed in a fab villa a few years ago - but Dutch owners knocking it down to build something bigger and better.
Keep searching the net but can't find 'The One' lots of villa companies out there but all very expensive.
We do have a reasonable budget - only want a week.
Any reccomendations out there?

owners direct have loads but we found vale de lobo to be much more expensive than rest of portugal and not good value for money - when we were looking.

do you have to go there or can you consider other resorts in algave? maia praie - sorry can't remember spelling - is nice
