I'm sure it was c 1.20 for months recently? but just now it's down to 1.11 at best, & 1.06 at worst I think.

Was nearly one to one a couple of years ago!

it was, but there was a lot about it in the media then - I haven't seen anything about this.

Is it all Gideon's fault?

It's at 1.15 today which is at the lower end of recent levels but we have had lower rates 6 months and 12 months ago. I guess it's just part of the cyclical nature of the exchange rates.

Thanks, Amateurish Smile

It's down to under 1.14 now - quite volatile this morning

the tourist rate is still around 1.11; I suppose I'd better just be grateful it's not worse!

I feel your pain - I travel to France often and long for the bygone days when the rate was 1.6 or more!
