Family friendly pub/restuarant near Stratford /Warwick

We are having a family celebration in August and the Stratford upon Avon/Warwick area is central to all of us. What we are looking for is a pub or restaurant that does good food (ideally with a private room for 15 or so of us). As there will be children aged 2-11 it would be great if there was also an enclosed garden or play area/swings etc to keep the children amused too. Any ideas gratefully received. It doesn't have to be IN Stratford or Warwick. A nearby village would be fine too.

The Golden Cross at Bearley used to have a seperate room they hired out but havent been for years. Had really good meal at the Queen & Castle in Kenilworth last half term. Havent thought much of them before but think its improved. Bell Inn at Welford has good garden. Also nice pub at Northend nr Gaydon. Hope this is some help

Hi ,I dont know wether you have had your day out yet but we run family friendly boat trips from the Four Alls pub at Welford-on-Avon. The pub has separate rooms for parties and a big childrens play area. We are on Mumsnet. Checkout theatre-marine.co.uk. Richard
