do you have to pay for ESTA for the US?

Seen a thread that said not but website says $10 each + $4 admin fee. Is this right? thanks

I paid $14 on the ESTA site. Confirmation came through immeadiately of visa being granted. Smile

Used to be free but they started charging last year...

are you sure - i paid and was told all the paying sites were scams and it was still free - but that was a couple of months ago so could have changed..

The US govt brought in a charge for their ESTA facility some time ago despite opposition from tourism groups.

People now pay $14 US per application (that's around £9 sterling). The ESTA is valid for 2 years from the date of issue.

There are still plenty of scammers out there; only use the official US govt website.
