UK break Apr/May Single mum w/18month old son

I'd really appreciate suggestions/recommendations for an inexpensive break for myself and my son. So far I've looked at holiday cottages but many end with the deal-breaker 'regretfully, no children/babies'.

Is it possible to get a good deal on a UK or European short break fro 1 adult and 1 infant? Where should I be looking?

Google MOORLEAZE. Gorgeous holiday cottages and really child friendly. Good for longleat and loads of other things to do. You will be able to go outside of school hols so can get a good deal, we can't afford to go anymore since dc started school!!
