artist/yoga retreat any experience?

I want to give myself somethign to look forward to and am seriously thinking of booking myself a short break artist/yoga type retreat thingy.

I have no experience of this type of break but as a lapsed artist and someone who used to practice yoga religiously I think it would be really good for me.

But where? And how do I know the place is any good?

There's a very admired yoga retreat on the South coast of Crete...will try to remember. In a very very small place, one beach, one taverna.

www.skyros.com
they have 2 centres on the greek island in summer - atsitsa and skyros town, also thailand in winter mths. skyros town-lovely - v spiritual, huge range of courses depending when you go. it does tend to attract some troubled souls though (suppose could argue aren't we all?) but i guess most people are simply there for a time out from the rat race - relaxation, learning new skills etc. It was also great fun BTW!
