What to do with teenagers in Weymouth?

Planning a holiday this summer in Weymouth.
Need help and advice on things for teenagers (age 16) to do in the area and surrounding areas.
Would like some things i can do with them and things they can go off and do on their own.
Any suggestions would be great :)

Are there any music festivals on when you are there?

Failing that mine wouldn't mind riding a horse across a beach or hiring a boat and going off fishing for a few hours.

Hmm, on their own probably wonder round town, hit the beach, crazy golf, Together what do they like doing? Their is a fast boat ride round Portland which looks entertaining, kayaking from Weymouth to Lulworth Cove along the Jurassic coast, sailing lessons at the National Academy, riding at Osmington.
