Gite holiday in France

My dad is building a holiday gite in France which he hopes to rent out to families with children (typical MN'ers) for holidays.

He's wondering where would be the best place to advertise - if you were planning such a holiday where would you look for information?

Cool - keep them coming.

Also would you look in magazines / papers? If so what ones?

In Brighton we have a free glossy called ABC magazine which would be a good place to put an ad

I'm another fan of www.gites-de-france.fr

I have booked many a cottage/gite through the ads in The Lady magazine, its very popular for that. Also Bonne Vacance, where abouts in France is it, and how many will it sleep please?
