Paris for one day

We will be in Paris for one day en route elsewhere in late April and I'd really appreciate any tips on what children might enjoy doing most. It'll be DDs 11th birthday, so would also value any suggestions for restaurants that won't cost the absolute earth but will be a treat for her for dinner. DCs not fussy eaters and can be trusted to behave well in restaurants. Thanks!

We just had one day and just did the main sites really. Eiffel tower, really very busy, but it has to be done, plus Notre Dame and the Tuillery gardens. We did the Musee D'Orsay too.

Can't help on specific restaurants sorry, but I hope you have a great time.

its possible to buy tower tickets online before you go to save time.

Restaurant - take the family to Chartier www.restaurant-chartier.com V reasonably priced - used to be a soup kitchen! It's very central. no booking - just turn up, but you often have to queue so get there early.

Thanks for that. Will look at the website.
