Yes I can! Dh stayed there last year for our tenth wedding anniversary. It was called the Hotel Regno and it was in Via del Corso which is very close to many sights: Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, Piazza Navona, Roman Forum, etc, etc, all within easy wlkaing distance.

Would thoroughly recommend it!

Not sure. Dh booked through Kirker Holidays here so you could look it up.

It wasn't a very posh hotel ie it didn't do dinner, so just a posh b&b really. Plus I bet you have to pay for being in such a central location, but it was good for that. Also, nice staff.

We went to Rome for our honeymoon and stayed at the Hotel Fontana next to the Trevi Fountain. It wasn't a plush luxury hotel. It was fairly basic with bathroom and I don't think it did dinner. What it was all about was opening the window to look at the Trevi Fountain at night and sitting on the roof terrace overlooking the fountain to have breakfast. We loved it. It was really quirky and was much better (for us) than an anonymous chain hotel. I don't remember it being particularly expensive in comparison to the other hotels in Rome.
