Hi there mumsnetters

does anyone know a good caravan holiday park that is close to a beach in south devon or dorset. I am having trouble finding something suitable. We are looking for somewhere with a pool and maybe a pub but not all the caberet shows and amusements. I can find quiet or lively places but knowhere in between

Devon cliffs - haven holidays. We went in September and thought it was great for kids (and adults too i guess!) Its Exmouth and it has its own stretch of beach.

ah just read about the cabaret and amusements - but surely you can choose to ignore those.

Have a look at Parkdean holidays - not sure what the website address is but you can google it.
Haven't used them but are thinking about it for next year and they seem good.

Or else there's always Sandyballs .

Great place, about 20 min drive from Bournemouth's beaches and they don't have all the shows and liveliness of some of the haven sites.

thank you for these suggestions i can start looking into now I just wanted a place to start. we do not mind the shows amusements etc but I think we just wanted somewhere a bit smaller. I have been to kelling heath in norfolk before and that was great.
