Hello all :) We are off to Italy for a week at the beginning of May and hoping to fit in day trips (on the train) to both Florence and Rome while we are there.
Have already had some great advice from a lovely MNer for things to do in Rome with 2.5 yo DD (bus tour, cat sanctuary, ice cream plus think we'll have a picnic and visit the Colosseum) though any other suggestions gratefully received.
Also wondering what to do in Florence, specifically with DD, though ideas for DH and I also good. DH has never been, I visited on a school trip in erm 1993
and can't remember much about it except I loved it and wanted DH to see it. Not sure he is mad-keen on art galleries though tbh so wondering what else to do. Or maybe even skip it in favour of eg Siena. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance :)
