getting to Gatwick

OK It appears that it's going to cost me over 30 pounds and take nearly 4 hours to get to gatwick by coach, (like the idea of sitting in one spot and being dropped off at the door rather than tube as well)

I feel this is excessive the journey in a car would be about 2 hours and 30 quid is outrageous!!

travelling from Newmarket so could do Saffron Walden, Cambridge, Bury etc etc
Does anyone have a better idea how to do it quicker and cheaper
thanks

A11, M11, M25 and M23. I would go into googe map and print off your route. Just go into Get Directions and put in your postcode. Bear in mind how much it will cost to park at Gatwick. I bet it will cost more than £30.

or go to bedford and the train. it goes there direct, but its exp.
i live in camb and im going to drive there and leave my car for 2 weeks. its costing me £66. i depends if your travelling alone or with family

It could cost you £30 in petrol and Dartford Crossing alone, let alone parking. iirc Train from Cambridge goes into Kings Cross , then Thameslink to Gatwick.
