Recommendations please - need cheap flights to Spain for Easter 06

Have Googled but don't know where to start from there -so many companies! Some companies don't book that far ahead(or least don't have facilities on website to get prices for next year), they don't always tell you which routes they operate so you spend ages inputing only to get "no matches found" etc .
Can fly from Bristol or any of the Midlands airports. Destination either Valencia or Alicante.
Sorry to go on but spent fruitless evening searching and got nowhere!

Monarch and Easyjet both fly to Alicante (although don't know if they go from Bristol/Mimdlands). We've used them both from Gatwick with no complaints. It may well be too early to book though - fly.be and bmibaby.com are both booking til March 2006 and fly from Bham to Alicante.

Some of the ones I looked at were giving me details of flights with 2 stoppovers/changes in Spain and costs in excess of £500 per ticket! aaargh!

Try expedia - it searches all the airlines for you. I got some cheap flights to Valencia on there (Alicante was more expensive for some reason)

I think moneysaving expert has a system where you put in how much you want to pay and then it searches on price, but the low cost airlines don't release this far aheadf

Ryanair and Easyjet work in opposite ways one gets more expensive nearer the departure and the othergets cheaper i think
