What sort of bleed? Perforated ear drum? What sort of holiday are you going on, not sure if the beach/swiomming would be much fun if that happened but...

DS had glue ear pretty much from birth to 2.5years and he flew 3 times and was absolutely fine. He didn't have an infection as such though at the time.

I'm pretty sure i'd go.

if the antibs haven't cleared the infection by Friday I wouldn't go (would also book another appointment at docs for Friday to check).

I flew with an ear infection when I was around 11. Not only did I bleed from my ear and nose on the plane, it was absolute agony and when I arrived back in the UK, they found out I had lost 60% hearing in that ear (temporarily - took around a year to return fully). Because of the whole saga, I now get travel sick on most forms of transport (damaged balance bits in the ear).

Honestly, if she still has the infection, it really isn't worth it. But if you have the antibs now, there's a chance she may be well enough by the weekend to travel.
