As a special treat this Christmas, Hamleys has teamed up with the UK?s leading educational toy manufacturers, LeapFrog Toys, to host an exclusive Christmas shopping event in aid of children?s charity Hope. Tickets go on sale today for the Leapster L-MAX? Handheld Hope @ Hamleys which promises to be a fun-filled family morning for both kids and parents alike to enjoy.

Hamleys, the most magical toy store in the world, will be opening its London doors 2 hours early, at 10am, on Sunday 6th November to 1,000 ticket holders. As well as exclusive rights to the store for the duration of the event, guests will also be able to enjoy a fantastic array of magicians, face painters, an animal show, balloon sculptures, Leapster L-MAX gaming, and much more to keep the little ones happy. Celebrities already confirmed to attend are actress Emma Thompson of the forthcoming blockbuster movie Nanny McPhee, Disney Channel?s acclaimed ?Animal Man? Nick Spellman and children?s TV personality Emma Forbes.

Tickets to Leapster L-MAX Handheld Hope @ Hamleys cost £5 per person and are available during half term from Hamleys toy store or via their website on www.hamleys.com or by calling Gina Drew Davis on Tel: 020 8450 1121.

We've okayed this as the event is in aid of children's charity Hope -- I told her to post this in this section. Should've mentioned it a bit sooner, but I've been having trouble with my home connection today. Sorry about that!

Ah yes, sorry ladies...I should've mentioned that JJ has already said this was ok. Mainly because it's in aid of children's charity - Hope. Would love to see you guys down there, it should be fun!
