Spanish air strikes from easter

Just seen on the news that talks are commencing regarding Spanish air strikes from the 20th April (the last day of my holiday in the canary islands :( ).

Hopefully they can be averted, but I'm worried that we won't get our holiday. We booked flights, accom and car separately so we will lose out.

Any thoughts / experiences?

I live in Barcelona, and so far the news are not good. We too have flight booked for the first weekend. GRRRRRRR Last time, the military took control of the airports, but it wasn't a regular announced strike, so not sure, they can do it again
