Birmingham Airport Parking and Night before check in

Hi

Our flight to Luxor has been moved from Bristol to Birmingham and so now I need to sort parking at Birmingham airport which I don't know at all.

I have found a good price for "park next to the terminal and walk in" multistorey parking in either Short/Medium Term Car Parks 1 2 or 3 and don't know which to choose. We are flying from Terminal 1. Which of the three would be best? We are travelling with DD(4) and DS(17 months) so want the shortest and easiest route of course.

Also - has anyone travelling with kids used the "night before" check in at Birmingham. It would cost £5pp and I can't decide if its worth the hassle of going to the airport the night before as well as in the morning, just to drop off the bags. Any experiences?

Many thanks
x

They are all really close, honestly Smile
On this map it looks like SM3 is marginally closest though, but really even with a 17mo any of them will be fine.

I've never used the night before thing though, sorry.

Oh- and Luxor is fabulous... I hope you have a fantastic time.

They are all the same - I always park in st3 now, but have done all of them and there is no difference.

I wouldn't bother checking in the night before. If its a long way for you, why not stay at the Ibis the night before - it's dead cheap and next to the car parks so you just slither out of bed and into checkin

Birmingham Airport is a lot smaller than you are imagining Grin

Terminals 1 and 2 are different entrances to the same building, and the multi-storeys are just plonked around said building.

There is no free parking for pick-up/drop-off though, so if you go to do your night before check-in, you will have to pay at least £1 just to pop in for a minute.
