girls only holiday in Ibiza - where to go?

I used to go on holidays with 3 of my friends regularly (pre kids) and we've realised how much we missed them so we are taking the plunge and going to book a week away.

quite fancy Ibiza but clueless about what part of the island to go to? not fussed about clubbing (but may give it a go one night) just fancy a chilled (child free) beach holiday. were thinking of June or September time.

any recommendations welcome!

Well this year will be the first one me and DH go on holiday without DD. She's 21 btw! And we quite fancy Ibiza. me for the shopping and him for the cycling. Santa Eulalia is my current favourite, not too dull but not full of teens either. Though I do quite fancy the Bora Bora beach party which takes place during the day! And the hippy market! By all accounts it's a beautiful island and the sunsets are divine. So pleased it's slowly losing it's 18-30 shagfest reputation

will check that one out thanks. quite fancy being close to Ibiza Town (we are all shopaholics) but being thirty somethings we don't want to be stuck somewhere with all the teen clubbers!

would we need to rent a car?

Apparently not. There is a regular bus service. I am also a shopaholic! And have been told Ibiza Town is a must. The island is smaller than I thought, so the bus is probably no longer than 20 minutes

to avoid the kids and teens stick to ibiza town.

I'd get a car.

I'd love to stay in Ibiza Town but the Hotels tend not to have a pool. Do you know of any that do?

Ibiza Town, you have to.... please!!
Can recommend this hotel, it's a 10 minute walk, or 2 minute in a cab
Hotel Simbad

Santa Eulalia is lovely too, lots of fab restaurants

But Ibiza Town is just sooo lively, very trendy, very chic.
also very expensive!! but go for the cheaper not so trendy bars and it's fine.

Have a look at Talamanca. Fab beach, walking distance (or boat ride) to Ibiza Town. Very chilled out. There are a few nice restaurants there - Sa Punta is gorgeous.

Top tip - if you fancy going clubbing at Pacha, eat at the restaurant first a you get free entry. The restaurant is quite pricey, but it works out well considering that you can pay EUR50 just to get in the club on some of the most popular nights.

I love Ibiza. DH and I got married there three years ago. Grin

Choppy I got married there too, at Sa Punta!
