Holiday complex - Italy

The last couple of years we've stayed at sc small apartment/villa complexes in France, near the sea and with pools, and would like to find similar in Italy. Have found this with Crystal but it seems quite a long way from Venice. Can anyone suggest similar within easy reach of Rome, Pompeii, Venice, around the lakes or similar.

Don't have specific recommendations but have done quite a lot of research myself. I think you need Agriturismo, perhaps on a lesser scale than your link but a bit like Gite de France, lists a lot of places with a number of self catering units grouped around a pool, sometimes with a restaurant on site.
For an alternative destination I can recommend Le Marche, like Umbria but quieter and with it's own coastline.

Not vey close to Venice, but only one hour from Florence and in the middle of Medieval Tuscany, and very close to Pisa
