2 days in Paris without kids!

A lot depends on your budget, but what I'd say is just.walk.around as much as you can! Soak in the atmosphere! :)
Definitely go for at least one meat at a typical Parisian bistro (not the restaurants for tourists)

Apart from that - there are some many city guides out there, try to do a bit of homework before you go so you find places to suit your personal prefences. Have fun it's a FANTASTIC place

I suggest you read through some of the topics or ask your own questions on the Trip Advisor Paris forum - I used them for info for two separate day trips, and also took along some guidebooks that I read before we went, concentrating on the main sights that we wanted to see.
If you want to go up the Eiffel Tower, it is definitely worth buying advance tickets online, so save a long queue at the Tower.
