Trying to decide, quick week away next weekend and trying to find somewhere where we can actually relax... with a 1 year old.

But which Island?

Many thanks!

We stayed at this place 3 years ago and it was a wonderful place to relax.
Was pg with DC1 at the time, so no children but there were other families there.

There was a fabulous little bar / restaurant at the top of the driveway to the hotel grounds (3 minute walk) which we ate wonderful fresh seafood in nearly every evening.

I was anti Tenerife pre holiday but found Garachico a lovely little town. Didn't like what I saw of the rest of the island though, lived up to my preconceived ideas.

Would definitely recommend / return (I hope) to El Patio.

impressed with playa blanca in lanzarote - would go there again - loads of restaurants to choose from and much nicer than place we went to in majorca - not so hiddy hi. spanish food available

Fuerteventura - hire a car and get away from the Yarmouth-style resorts. We found tiny little fishing villages where the local children swim in the harbour, deserted beaches .....

Canaries doesn't have to mean chips and SKY tv.

Hi there.
I live and work in Tenerife as a childcarer.
I know quite a lot of the hotels now from my work and can say that Tenerife is an all round Island with loads to do for families with children of all ages.

If you would like some hotel info or if you have any questions at alljust let me know and i will do my best to answer them.

Lisa.
