Hi ladies - just wondering if anyone has experience of either of these places and can help me decide? Many thanks...oh and another question if we are a family of 5 (dc 2,4,6yrs) can we get away with a 2 bedroom caravan?

We're off to La Carabasse in July. I have friends who have been before and loved it. I would really go for the largest caravan you can afford though. We stayed at Lac Des Reves in a 2 bedroom Esprit. There was 3 of us and there was no room to put anything. No-way would I recommend trying to fit 5 in.

Good tip there Port, will save up for bigger one!
I am thinking La Carabasse looks like there is a bit more going on.....

The area is nice around Vias Plage. We stopped there once - but on a canal boat. It appealed to me because there are restaurants/shops within walking distance. Though the fun fair supposed to be a bit noisy.

We have stayed at La Carabasse 3 times - great area for families.

Large vans are fab, but sometimes my kids prefer to sleep on the sofas in the lounge anyway! They do have a drop-down bed the second bedroom in some vans so your six year old could go up there, and the 2 year old can have the railings up (all vans have these - turn the bed into a cot)
