Brisbane accommodation

I'll be travelling to Brisbane later in the year - family group of 4 adults and our 2 yo DS. Any suggestions for apartments, preferably on the south side of the river, that are decent and not too expensive to stay in? Thanks.

Why the south side? Generally the North side is nicer...

beanlet That's where our relatives live, so we want to be close for convenience.

Which suburb do your rellies live in? Is it close enough in that you'd actually stay in that suburb, iyswim?

Stayz.com is good too. DH goes there for business quite regularly and was saying last week that accommodation prices have really gone up since the floods. Hope you find something.
