Homesitters, anyone used?

We are planning a long (5 week)holiday next Easter. We have 2 cats and numerous stick insects and would prefer to have someone living-in than have to use a cattery and stick-insectery, (if there is such a thing)! Anyone used a homesitting service or got any ideas?
Many thanks.

Yes, www.housesittersltd.co.uk, are fantastic. Speak to Gail. They use lovely people.

I think when you are away for several weeks, you feel much more at ease if you know someone is in your house keeping it ticking over and secure. All Gail's housesitters are animal friendly!

We always use uni or student friends (known through church) who relish the thought of not living at home in the hols. They have never let us down, always fed animals & we come home to a beautifully tidy home. MUCH cheaper than a prof. organisation as they do it for pocket money. If it is someone who works & lives at home they don't pay their mum those weeks rent & live with us (trampoline in garden is a good draw!)
