we are a family of 7 and im finding holiday destinations are limited for us because we require a 3 bedroom apartment - so far weve been to porto colum in majorca but otherwise its been camping. Anyone know of any other resorts that have larger accomm?? I would be so grateful for any feedback - each time i make enquiries about places suggested none of them can acommodate us - very disappointing....

Could you bring a grandparent or baby sitter with you and book two sets of 2 bed apartments side by side? Put the older 2 children with the baby sitter and have the 3 younger with you? Or what about a villa instead of a resort?

What sort of holiday do you go for? Do you like resorts with facilities on hand? Its just my Mum has a farmhouse she rents out and that has 3 bedrooms but it is more for people who like to go off the beaten track (although near nice resorts).

Book direct, suggestions are www.interhome.co.uk or www.gites-de-france.fr .

I'd book a property direct, use www.vrbo.com or www.homelidays.com. Dunno about resorts.

Simply Travel used to do a place called Emily's Villas in Kephalonia which I am pretty sure had three bedrooms, but of course now I can't find them on the site (see the Simply Travel thread!!)

thanks for all suggestions - im probably looking for a resort as i love all that entertainment at night stuff!! - sad i know. the real me is drawn to a farmhouse - and hubby always loves idea of a gite and getting away from it all - but with 5 children im afraid they would just look to us to entertain them - at least in a resort its laid on...

I think with 5 kids i'd be staying at the Priory!

Ooh, I`d be interested in the farmhouse, can I have details please? We are always looking for 3 beds, thats why we always rent a house or cottage and have had no trouble. This May we rented a fantastic townhouse right in the middle of Puerto Pollensa, it was fantastic, a huge ensuite twin room, an even bigger room with kingsize beds and a little hidden room with twins, plus in the garden a fantastic outside twin room and another bathroom, three bathrooms in all. Lovely safe garden, shops and restaurants on your doorstep and a minutes walk to the fabulous beach.................ah wish I was there!

chicagomum · 20/10/2005 22:23

triplet could you possibly give me the details of that house as it sounds perfect for what we are looking forfor next year
