Weekend in Bowness on Windermere

Can anyone recommend a nice hotel for a weekend break in Bowness.

There's 4 of us, the kids are 1 and 4.

Preferably with car parking & breakfast but ideally someting friendly and clean, not too expensive with a decent size room.

Not a hotel but a self-catering lodge, with all mod cons. Onsite country Pub serving meals.

Its on a beautiful park, Lots of space for the kids. Less than 3 miles from Bowness .

did you find somewhere..? we usually stay at the swan newby bridge. Recently refurbished in places due to flooding.

Its a lovely child friendly hotel and such a lovely hotel.

Pool and walks locally and its a boat trip from bowness.

We go for the weekend and pay around £400 for a room that sleeps 2 adults and 2 kids. Worth it imo as the hotel is very nice. Modern, very clean and relaxing.
