Half term is coming up. What are your plans? Looking for a bit of inspiration....

batters, I'm based in London too, but you sound far better organised than me! How did you find out about the V&A activities? My instinct has been to avoid museums during half term as I assumed they would be miserable, heaving places - perhaps I'm wrong? How old is your dd?

well I dont expect anyone lives in rural Dorset but I am running kids art workshops for two days during half term - sadly dd1 isnt allowed to go on them poor thing.

So I have booked the day off on Monday and am taking dd1 and a couple of friends to see a puppetcraft play about unicorns.

Enid - I'm sorry we don't live closer, as it sounds like a lovely thing to do,

batters - thanks for the advice. Will definitely look into some of the fab ideas you've suggested. Half term can be lots of fun because there's the opportunity to do things you don't usually do....or it can seem like an awfully long time to entertain kids if you haven't got any plans...
