St Malo overnighter

Does anyone have any recommendations for 1 night in St Malo? Its the night before our all day ferry trip back to Portsmouth. And on the return journey home after our holiday in Brittany..

I need somewhere inexpensive with family rooms if possible, for 2 adults and 2 DC 5 and 3yrs.

Tried the Formule1 places but they only have rooms for 3.

Very grateful for any ideas or advice.. Thanks!

if you are staying in brittany do you need to do an overnighter in st malo - why not just travel up from where you are on the morning?

They do family rooms for 4 and have 2 hotels in St Malo. They are really plain & simple. The breakfast is good value.
