Castles or farms in or near Gloucestershire or Cotswolds

Hi,

We're looking to entertain a DS 4, DD 5, DD7, ideally either near or in Gloucestershire or the Cotswolds for a few days over May half term.

They like castles and farms, but are probably too young for stately homes. We like family pubs with bouncy castle.

Any recommendations?

Thanks.

Birdland at Bourton on the water; Bourton also has model village, model railway, nice family-friendly cafes and a softplay barn
Cotswold falconry centre at Moreton in marsh (and Moreton also has good cafes/ pubs)
Glucestershire/ warwickshire railway
Cotswold water park if the weather's kind enough for a good, flat, walk

I would recommend going to Sudeley Castle (www.sudeleycastle.co.uk/) It's a beautiful place with an amazing playground for kids. I had a great day there.

Thanks, everyone. I'll check out all the places recommended.

Also, should add Wildfowl and wetlands trust at Slimbridge (they will be having downy duckling days which are just great)
