transfers - do you collect luggage in between?

we are flying to australia with singapore airlines and have a transfer at singapore. there will be a 5 hour stop on our way over and a 15 hour stop on the way back. Does anyone know if we will need to collect our baggage and then check it back in each time or will they transfer straight from one plane to the next?

It will transfer straight through but make sure they put the labels for your final destination on your bags when you're checking in
