Looked at English country cottages and I can only book from Sat to Sat and I want to go wed 12th April to Wed 19th.....

Do any companies do midweek holidays?

Most off them do. I have got the Cottages4you2006 brochure here and it has 3/4 night breaks price list too. Some only do it out of main season. Depending when easter falls you should get a midweek. Not always on website best to phone and check.

CentreParcs don't
English Country Cottages don't

I spoke to about 5 other cottage places today who won't do wed to wed unless I book 2 weeks

Sorry I missed the fact it was wed to wed. Is teh holidy week? if not then try the cottages direct. Nearer to the time they will probably be quite happy to take any bookings. Have you tried the tourist board site?

Thanks - yes it is accross Easter - my helpers are only prepared to cover 2 days in each week (so they get a rest) rather than 4 days in 1 week. It would be too hard for them - so we have agreed Wed to Wed

I'd rather not leave it too close, 'cos if I don't have anything booked I could loose out (can't stay at home as business has to carry on and I'll be in the way)

I wasn't sure when easter actually feel in 2006. Best bet is to try property owners direct, rather than big companies.
