top tips for flying with babies?

Taking my first flight with 7 week old ds. Only a short domestic flight but doing it on my own so looking for any tips...

Either a dummy or a feed for take off and landing is my best top tip. DD flew long haul at four weeks and we were advised to use one or the other. I understand they can't equalise the pressure in their ears easily. She still can't and she's 9.8 Smile

I was about to post on the same thing!flying to italy with 2 month old ds next week-anything in particular I should bring?apart from nappies etc.

Take a sling!

Leaves your hands free, essential esp if it's a larger airport with a long walk to bagage reclaim.
