Sunny place not too far with luxury hotel for Feb

We are looking to go away for a week in mid February to help us get through some sad times. We need it to be sunny enough to lay in sun, somewhere LO friendly in terms of restaurants etc (dd is 2.5) but kids club etc not necessary. Not 100% keen on Egypt atm. Any suggestions and hotel recommendations much appreciated. Price wise we are open minded and will spend what we have to.

Gran Bahia del Duque Resort is very nice. A friend of mine stayed there a couple of years ago.

Another one in Tenerife is the Iberostar Gran Anthelia.

If you avoid half-term it may not be so pricey.

Dominican Republic or Jamaica. Both are lovely at this time of year with nice beaches. Both have resorts that are very family friendly and you can go in mid Feb for about £650 - £800pp including, flights transfers and all-inclusive accommodation.

Second Tenerife, nice climate at that time, Bahia del Duque looked lovely although very pricey unless you want to share a double room, we have just booked for the Iberostar Gran Anthelia, so fingers crossed it is good

We've just booked a week in Maldives, to get ourselves together after sad times too.

We got it through tots too, who also recommended Mauritius, and St Lucia at that time.

It's costing about 11k for 5 of us, but since there are only three of you, you'll have many many more options, and much cheaper too I'd think. Do try tots too, they were lovely and helpful.

Mustdash we have been looking at the Maldives. Somehow I've never heard of Tots Too so thanks for suggesting it. I hope your holiday is restorative and happy.
